12 - week guided programs for religious trauma, LGBTQ+ identity trauma, domestic violence, PTSD, and other trauma experiences.

Trauma doesn't fit into neat categories. Maybe you:
Left a high-control religion and lost your entire community
Came out and faced rejection from the people who were supposed to love you
Survived domestic violence and are rebuilding trust
Live with PTSD that nobody warned you would be this hard
Therapy helps, but many people are let on their own between sessions with scattered resources and no clear direction for healing.
Refuge Under the Eclipse offers 9 trauma-specific healing journeys, each designed for a different survivor experience. It is not therapy. It is structured peer support that combines education, creative processing, and safe community connection.
Our first journey, Beyond the Eclipse (Religious Trauma), launches in early 2026. Additional trauma-specific journeys will be relased in phases after beta testing to ensure safety, quality, and trauma-informed integrity.
Beyond the Eclipse: Religious Trauma
Out of the Shadow: LGBTQ+ / Coming Out Trauma
After the Storm: General Trauma
Beyond Control: Domestic Violence Recovery
Finding Solid Ground: PTSD
Coming Home: Veterans Trauma
From Ashes to Light: Childhood Sexual Abuse

Reclaiming the Light: Adulthood Sexual Abuse
Each 12 - week journey includes:
Weekly educational modules (trauma psychology, identity reconstruction, grief processing)
Creative processing exercises (write, draw, or record - your choice)
Moderated community forums (optional, safe spaces for peer support)
Grounding practices and nervous system regulation tools
Trauma-specific content (no generic "healing")
Week 1 - 3: Building safety and understanding religious trauma
Week 4 - 6: Guilt, shame, and unlearning
Week 7 - 9: Identity, relationships, and grief
Week 10 - 12: Purpose, belonging, and moving forward
This is NOT therapy.

Hi, I'm Daniel Evearts.
I'm a survivor of multiple traumas. I left Jehovah's Witnesses 13 years ago, came out as gay, escaped domestic violence, and was later diagnosed with Complex PTSD.
Therapy saved my life, but I needed more: Structured support that understood how different traumas layer and complicate each other. I looked for platforms that served multiple trauma communities with the same depth and safety. They did not exist
So I built Refuge Under the Eclipse: nine journeys for nine survivor experiences, all grounded in trauma-informed practice. I'm not an expert who has it all figured out. I'm a fellow traveler who knows healing is not linear and never looks the same for everyone.

Late 2026 - 2027
Additional trauma-specific journeys, such as Out of the Shadow (LGBTQ+ Identity Trauma) and After the Storm (General Trauma), will be released gradually. Each new journey will go through careful review to maintain Refuge's commitment to safety, depth, and accessibility.
Is this therapy?
No. Refuge Under the Eclipse is a trauma-informed peer support and education platform. It complements terapy or serves as structured support when therapy is not accessible.
Which journey should I start with?
Choose the journey that matches your primary healing focus right now. Many survivors have layered trauma - you can access multiple journeys based on your subscription tier.
What if I'm still in an unsafe situation?
Some journeys (like Beyond Control for domestic violence) include safety planning content, but this platform is not a crisis service. If you're in immediate danger, please contact local domestic violence hotlines or emergency services.
Is this safe and confidential?
Yes. Refuge is fully anonymous. No personal identifying information is collected or stored. All discussions are pre-moderated by trained staff to ensure safety.
What's included in each journey?
Every 12-week journey includes weekly educational modules, creative processing exercises (write, draw, or record), optional moderated forums, and grounding practices. Content is specific to each trauma type.
Can I switch journeys mid-program?
Yes. Depending on your subscription tier, you can pause one journey and start another, or work through multiple journeys simultaneously.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes! All public launch subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. you can explore the platform and cancel within 7 days at no charge. Beta participants receive full 12-week program for their one-time $29.99 payment.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel , you lose your locked-in rate. When you return, you'll pay whatever the current pricing is at that time. For example, if you subscribed in Month 1 at $14.99/month but cancel and return in Month 6, you'll pay the current rate (likely $29.99/month). Your early adopter rate is only protected while you maintain an active subscription.
What about beta pricing?
Beta participants pay $29.99 one-time for the 12-week Beyond the Eclipse program, then lock in at $9.99/month when we launch publicly - as long as they maintain their subscription. They will have full access to new journeys as they become available.
Do you offer refunds?
Accepted Beta participants will be provided terms before enrollment. Public launch refund terms will be available before Q2 2026.
